Training Theory
In his natural environment the horse does not encounter flags, cars, ropes, guns, crowds, and bicycles. He does not need to perform pre-scripted reining patterns, jump courses, or pull a cow to the branding fire. It is Important for him to adapt in order to succeed in life in our world, however we don't want to diminish the natural born spirit of the horse. I want to encourage curiosity, personality, freedom, and of course let them maintain a mind of their own while at the same time developing a well-rounded horse that can successfully participate in any realm of equestrian sport. |
